Since pastors and missionaries need proper theological formation and training before they are commissioned into the ministry, the ECA extends financial support to prospective and needy students undergoing theological training in different seminaries in India. Apart from this initiative, with a vision to build a strong theological foundation for church elders and youth in line with the evangelical tradition, ECA started a theological training institute called, “Discipleship Theological Seminary” where students can enroll for diploma and B.Th. courses. This seminary also provides missionary training and refresher course for pastors every year.
